Update: Battery is dead and can longer fire after only about 2ml of juice.
New experiment will be with a brand new AW 18650 2000mAh battery.

Keith I'm getting about 3 mls with my silver bullet and liquinator setup before the battery goes into the stutter mode
ok thanks cape. i was worried i was having contact issues with mine. i think i read somewhere that somebody was having problems with there being a contact problem with the beta versions due to the contact spring not being a spring but rather a small tab. anywho makes me fell better.
and ive alway hear about battery life in time. this whole measuring in ml's is new to me. is it b/c of the booster that we measure in this way???

it really just a better way to gauge battery life than in time. If i take 8 sec draws say 50 times an hour and you only take 4 sec draws and 50 times an hour your going to get twice battery life. Not because your unit is any better it's really your vaping habits. An easier way to gauge is by how many mls you use till the batts goes dead it takes out the draw time/number of draws/hour. wattage and voltage also need to be considered or mentioned to make comparisons. Does that make sense? Oh and the wattage setting on the setup mentioned above is in the 8.5-9 range based on where the potentiometer is set at on the "kick". I'm on a trip and do not have a multi meter with me
Also it's easier this way now because most peep have some sort of tank system and can easily measure the consumption of juice, also IMHO more accurate way to measure a batteries life. Even an ego/riva with a tank atty.
Even drippers can measure there consumption just not as easy.
Atty/Carto life is better gauged this way , with some consideration given to wattage or voltage

After testing my Reo Grand with and without the Kick, I have come to the conclusion that the Kick does indeed work.
Here are my results using a brand new AW IMR 2000mAh 18650 with no Kick and running it until the battery could no longer supply needed to fire the HH.357 atomizer. Barely used 2ml vs which was almost the same with the 18490 and the Kick. Have to remember that it was 2000mAh vs 1100(Kick) and the smaller battery with Kick did last slightly longer.

Yeah...the grounding tab you're referrign to was for the first run of prototypes. It was so Evolv could get it out while waiting for parts, and was never meant to be a "final solution". Mine would have some wild over heating and discharging issues. That all goes away with the production version, which moved to the spring-loaded design!

I had done some more looking into that and had seen the tab in the beta versions that they sent out. Thank Bob the went with the spring
