    Default IKV IO6 Discussion

Well I just received my 2 IKV IO6 1.8ohm atties with Siam Stainless steel drip tips. I ordered them from Canada as it was the only place I could find with both items in stock.

I am finding the draw to be REALLY stiff. I am not talking a tight draw but more like trying to drink the worlds thickest milkshake through a normal straw. Honestly I have never sucked so hard in my entire life. I do like the way the vapor tastes but I am working way too hard to get any vapor to taste.

So now I am hoping someone has some suggestions. Is this incredibly stiff draw normal? Is there a better driptip for the IO6?
Is there some special trick to using these?

What have you experienced with the IO6?

I'm listening, you've always steered me right before.

I don't understand everything I should know about this but I found with the Cisco Lr's that the lower the ohm the tighter the draw. When I tried 1.8 vs the 1.5 I usually get, the 1.8 was far too airy (is that a word?). I prefer the 1.5, tight but not too tight.

Why is it that any discussion about e cigs begins to sound sexual in nature?

Hey Doggin, what mod are you using them on? I noticed that the draw was exactly how you described it on my BP, but on my mantis it is about perfect.

BlackCatFever I also have a HH.357 that is 1.5ohm and it is no where near this tight. Think about blowing one of those tiny balloons up, the kind that make your cheeks hurt. It feel like I am attempting to suck one of those tiny balloons to fill it. Hmmm if that makes any sense.

GAC I am using it on my Legacy but that's an interesting observation. I will try some different mods and see what happens. thanks

GAC That was BRILLIANT!!!! Thank you so much, you just saved me a trip to the dentist to replace the fillings I was about to suck out of my teeth.

I tried the IO6 on my Legacy, Precise+ and SB which all required an enormous amount of effort.

Then I tried my Provari and the draw was on the tight side but very good. Then I tried the IO6 on the previous mods with a 510 shorty adapter and they all work well. So it like the secret is an adapter for anything without a juice well in order to have adequate airflow.

Thanks for the help you guys saved me from rupturing something.

That is interesting, I have no draw issues with the i06 on my BP. However, I didn't know that you should prime it with some juice for a little while before vaping when using for the first time and it tasted horrid when i first tried it!

Yeah, I made that same mistake when I first tried them too, it was pretty rough for sure That is interesting that they work fine with your BP, I was even thinking about swapping in a flat head screw in the atty connector to see if that would help. It is the only atty/carto that I have had a airflow issue with on my BP.

They work great in a UFS but tighten up as they get befouled between cleanings -- but the GGs are known for their adjustable airflow so I don't know how much help that is.......

My BP is the magic the BP. Chris has had airflow problems with a few things on his BP. However when something isn't working on his I try it on mine and it works fine.

I almost gave up on the i06. I really thought it made everything taste horrible, then someone told me about priming it for a little while!
