I have set it aside for now.. Have set it up quite a few ways and it just has that burnt metal taste. I followed all the vidoes on how to set it up along with other instructions I found on the forms.

I have a go at it later just feed up with it right now..

So my opinion at this time is I don't like it.

Have you tried different flavor of juices? I have one juice that I just can not get to work in these, no matter what I do. Was getting pretty frustrated till I switched flavors and found out I was doing it right, its just the flavors come out different.

Ok so with that said at first I didn't heed the warning of wick on bottom they (videos) didn't mention it. Long story short I leave prolly 2-3mm of paper clip sticking out of the bottom of my wick when I insert it into the unit, since I made that adjustment I have had no wicking issues. The taste has vastly improved . I just cant believe that with the wick touching it made that big of difference but in fact it does So thank you to all of you helping out, we are reading and getting better because of you

So I've moved on to 270 mesh with a 50/50 mix.

    Will 270 still wick 70/30?

I admit I did not read every post so I don't know if this has been mentioned. When I tried a mesh wick/coil I did not care for it at all. I learned from another vapor to wrap cotton around where you make your coil, then do your wire wrap. For me it is a better vape. I use either cotton gauze or cheesecloth.

What didn't you like about the mesh wick flavor?

It seemed to be a bit harsh. Also wrapping with cotton, you don't get shorts from not oxidizing properly. The cotton sort of works as an insulator between the mesh and wire.

What did you think of the flavor of your juice in general?

If you've seen some of my other posts, you know I've used a lot of different wick materials in other devices. That harsh thing usually indicates that your wick isn't oxidized well enough and the coil is shorting somewhere. Using the cotton solves the problem by providing mor insulation.

If you get your coils glowing end to end reliably, you won't have that harshness. It takes some time to learn how to make that happen though.
