Our Plans To Close for Surgery!

So, we just got all the info. Chris will be having surgery on May 14th! Nothing is written in stone yet, but I believe we will work until we get all the packages out on Friday and then shut the site down as we have some personal matters to attend to before surgery as well. The doctor said a week, however Chris is the fastest healer I have ever seen. When he broke his back he was supposed to be laid up for a month or so and was walking around the following week. He was walking around gingerly, but it was amazing none the less. So we will see how it goes. The Doctor said a week, so I guess that should be the worst case.

As for me, I will be checking emails and the forums now and again, but do not expect the normal turn around in replies. I will do my best! I might even work on custom sandblast request if I get the time, but they will not be completed until Chris is up and around again!

That sucks to hear about the surgery. I hope he has a speedy recovery. I know when I had my back fusions it was hard to get up and walk but I forced myself. So I can understand the walking gingerly. Take the time to spend with him and help him! Don't worry we will be here when ya get back

Thanks all! I will post updates when I have them.

He is actually excited about it. He will be happy when his tonsils are gone for good. The doctor added as if it is no big deal, however when he was leaving the nurse wished him luck and told him it is really bad for adults, which MITW has pointed out a few times as well! So we will have to see. I can't imagine it is worse then a broken back or having my gall bladder removed, but the gall bladder was 21 years ago when I was 21 and we all know we healed better way back then!

Peaceful???? Have you forgotten I have two kids, 4 dogs and a hedgehog to boot. Unless the dogs and kids are getting their tonsils yanked as well, I will never be blessed with peace!
